With the knowledge that we have today we know that it is not always safe to just get water from the tap. This is the water that we use not just for drinking but also we use it to cook for our families. We want to keep our families safe so the demand for water filtration systems is growing bigger. There are different types of filtration systems that you can get. Depending on the amount of water you use and what your needs are depends on what type of system you will want to get.

One of the more commonly used filtration system is a pitcher. People are more likely to use this type because it is inexpensive. They have a disposable filter and you just fill as you need it. They also have the flavor drops that you can put in the pitcher. Most people just don’t drink water because they like the taste. By adding the drops into your system then you and your family will be more inclined to drink water.

If you and your family use a lot of water then this can become an inconvenience. It does take time to fill the pitcher and then wait for the water to pass thru the filter. So it will take at least about five to ten minutes to fill the pitcher. If you are just using this for drinking water then this might be a good option for you.

Another type of filtration system is the type that you can attach to your faucet. The upside to this type of system is that you don’t have to wait as long for the water to come thru the filter as soon as you turn on the tap the filtered water comes out. This kind also uses a disposable filter. This is also an inexpensive way to have a filtering system in your home.

The last type we are going to discuss is the filter that filters the water from your entire house. That means the shower, you bathroom sink, your wash machine etc. This type is more expensive up front but it saves you so much money in the long run. It makes your clothes last longer. All the chemicals that is in your traditional tap water wears the material in the clothes. It also fades the color of your clothes. With this type of system you clothes won’t fade as fast the material on your clothes won’t weaken as fast. So it will save you money on your wardrobe budget.

This kind is also good for your hair. The water lathers up better because it is pure water. So you are using less shampoo to get your hair clean. It is better for your skin as well. You will notice that your skin is not as dry so you won’t need as much lotion. If you total up what you spend on your filtration system each moth you will notice that you end up paying more in the long run for the other types of filtration system. It is definitely a better investment.
