These are both experiences where, once you reach the bottom, you’ll feel like your stomach is still several hundred feet behind you.

Quad biking is a sure fire way to get the adrenaline pumping, while it may not seem as extreme as jumping out of an aeroplane, it is just as exhilarating. Get a group of your friends together and speed around tracks and up and down hills on the back of a quad bike. Make sure you wear the correct safety gear such as a helmet though, while you make think driving a bike without a helmet is a cool look, knocking your teeth out on the handlebars if you stop suddenly most definitely is not.

A recent fad that has come about is sphereing; this is definitely not an activity for those who suffer from motion sickness! You’ll tumble down hills in a giant inflatable ball that can be filled with water if you desire. The balls can either be transparent or opaque, so if you think you can stomach watching the outside world spin past you, go for the clear option to really push yourself to the limits.

As with any extreme sports, you should only attempt these when being observed by a professional and listen carefully to any safety briefing that may take place before hand. Extreme sports are a fun way to test yourself, but they can also be dangerous so being sensible is crucial in ensuring you have a brilliant time.
